A work email is the only input. Hyves proposes the company behind it, you confirm it, and the deep research begins: twenty-one stages in seven chapters, about fifteen minutes, with a live thought stream and a graph assembling on screen.
How it works
This page is the whole system with no gloss: what runs, in what order, what the machine decides, and what you decide. Twelve steps, four phases, one memory. If you read one page before a demo, read this one.
Phase 01 · Research you
There is no brief. Your work email tells Hyves which company to research, and the first run is about you, not your market.
A work email is the only input. Hyves proposes the company behind it, you confirm it, and the deep research begins: twenty-one stages in seven chapters, about fifteen minutes, with a live thought stream and a graph assembling on screen.
It identifies the people who run your company, reads your website, and sweeps search results about you, your market and recent events. Then it rebuilds your company, products, audience, clients and competitors, trusting only evidence anchored to your domain. Look-alike companies with a similar name are thrown out.
Findings are woven into a research graph while the next stage is already researching, then consolidated into patterns. A gap check names the biggest holes in what is known, and one cost-capped hunt goes out to close them.
Output: your proposition, ideal customer profile, buying signals, outreach angles, and a twelve-dimension scoring rubric written for your product.
Chapter 1 · Finding you
Phase 02 · Search your market
The first market search launches on its own. It checks its scoring against your existing customers first, and pauses for you if they would not pass.
One query per market you sell into, written in your buyer’s words rather than yours. Companies that resemble you more than your buyers are dropped, and so are your existing accounts and anything researched recently.
Eight web searches per company, plus its homepage, vacancies page, about page, LinkedIn and trade register. Every dimension is scored 0, 1 or 2 with the evidence quoted; weak or unknown dimensions trigger follow-up searches and a re-score. Missing evidence counts as unknown, never as zero.
Tiers are set relative to the run: Tier A is roughly the top tenth, above an absolute bar, then B, C and D. A make-or-break zero demotes an A, and your own rules can boost, penalise or disqualify on top.
Output: a ranked, tiered set of companies, every score traceable to its source, synced to your CRM.

Phase 03 · Build the case
Every Tier A and B account gets a dossier before anyone writes an email. It is the file every agent reads before it acts.
Why now: the signal that makes the account worth opening, with its source and the date it was seen. Where you land: the function you would serve, what you would replace, the benefits, and what waiting costs them. If there is no evidence, the case stays empty. It is never invented.
Hyves maps everyone the product touches: economic buyers, champions, the people who use it daily, influencers and blockers. Each gets an influence score, a note on their own situation, and a personal angle for the first message.
Output: a dossier per account that stays current: the agent replaces the signal only when something newer turns up.

Phase 04 · Work the account
Most tools email the decision maker. Hyves builds pressure from the bottom up, so the buyer hears about you from their own team first.
Each account has its own agent. Every cycle it reads the dossier first, then thinks, then decides between sending, researching further, booking, waiting, switching to another person, or asking you, and it logs every step.
Contact goes out in waves: the people who use it daily first, champions and everyone else who would benefit next, the economic buyer last. A wave opens only after the one below has answered, or after five days. One new person a day, never more than three touches on an account in a day, and blockers are never contacted.
Each account has a send mode you choose: approve every message, approve the first and let the agent continue, or let it run inside the plan. Email goes from your own inbox when a verified address exists; otherwise the step becomes a LinkedIn message or a call for your rep.
A reply lands on the account next to the business case, marks the deal as replied and can open the next wave. The agent drafts an answer, which waits for you unless the account runs on its own.
Output: conversations opened on evidence, inside accounts that are already warming to you.

Reference
Ten classes of buying signal the research looks for while it reads each company, why each one predicts a purchase, and how long the window typically stays open. The business case records the one it found, with its source and the date it was seen.
| Signal | Why it predicts buying | Typical window |
|---|---|---|
| Funding round closed | New budget plus a mandate to grow. Tooling and vendor decisions follow within the quarter. | 4 to 12 weeks |
| Leadership hire (VP / C-level) | New owners re-evaluate the stack they inherited. The best moment to be found is before their plan is set. | First 90 days |
| Hiring spike in one function | The pain is present-tense: headcount is the expensive fix your product replaces or multiplies. | While reqs are open |
| Tech switch detected | The stack is already in motion; the switching cost objection is being paid anyway. | Weeks |
| Negative reviews of incumbent | Public frustration with a competitor is an account mid-decision, telling you its evaluation criteria. | Days to weeks |
| New country entity registered | Expansion creates operational gaps overnight: compliance, logistics, hiring, tooling. | 1 to 2 quarters |
| Public tender / RFP | Explicit, budgeted, deadline-bound demand, the rarest and clearest signal there is. | Fixed deadline |
| Champion changed jobs | People who bought from you once buy again in new seats, if you notice the move. | First 90 days |
| Pricing or positioning rewrite | A strategy shift in public: new segments, new budgets, new gaps a vendor can fill. | Weeks |
| Physical expansion (sites, warehouses) | New locations force process and tooling decisions that were postponable before. | 1 to 2 quarters |
Before anything is sent
Any single source of contact data is partly wrong: people change jobs, companies rename, inboxes close.
Hyves treats no source as the truth. Contact details are checked across licensed providers and public evidence, and an email address is verified before a message can go to it. An address that fails never reaches your plan; the step becomes a LinkedIn message or a call instead.
Rules of engagement
APPROVAL
Every send passes a gate first: the account needs a ready dossier, the channel has to be one the person actually uses, and the pacing has to allow it. Each account has a send mode you choose: approve every message, approve the first, or let the agent run inside the plan.
LAWFUL BASIS
Public business data and licensed B2B datasets under legitimate interest, suppression and deletion on request, no scraped private profiles, no gray-market databases.
ISOLATION
Row-level security is on for every table in the database, so tenant separation is enforced in Postgres rather than in application code. Your map, your dossiers, and what the engine learns from your edits are yours.
JURISDICTION
EU infrastructure, EU legal home. Your data doesn’t take trips it doesn’t need to take.
Week one, hour by hour
No brief, no CSV imports, no ops hire. This is what the first week looks like once you’re in.
